THE BULLY PERISCOPE
Q&A
** NOTE – In this Q&A Section all bullies will be named Gene and all victims will be named Andrew. ***
A- Actually, in 3 different ways. Once Andrew (the victim) and all others file their incident reports, Andrew’s parent obtains a copy of all reports from The Bully Periscope database. Then our Legal Department at The Bully Periscope sends a notification letter to the principal with all bully incident reports attached. Once the principal receives this letter they will have a meeting with Gene and inform him that our legal department has contacted the school regarding Gene bullying Andrew. REMEMBER, the bullies we stop are middle school and high school students, and students this age know only 2 things about lawyers: 1- They are very powerful. 2- If a lawyer is inquiring about you then you must be in big, big trouble. The reality is this, the letter from our Legal Department will scare the literal breath out of Gene 99% of the time, and the last thing Gene will do is attack Andrew again knowing that Andrew now has a lawyer protecting him. Gene, will on his own, stay far away from Andrew. The second way is this; in the notification letter it informs the principal that if this abuse continues there will be legal action initiated against the school and Gene’s parents, so, Gene’s parents will demand that Gene stay away from Andrew or face serious consequences from them. The 3rd way is the school will demand that Gene stay away from Andrew or face serious discipline consequences. No way the school allows Gene to continue bullying Andrew and accumulating bully strikes; that would be a guaranteed lawsuit. By either one of these means or a combination of the 3, Gene is done with bullying Andrew.
A- Absolutely, here is how. Remember, these are middle school and high school students and when they learn that Andrew has a Legal Dept. protecting him they will want no part of that fight. Bullies choose weaker people as targets, not the most powerful people in the school and once it is know that Andrew has legal protection (which will happen very quickly) he will be seen as VERY POWERFUL and a huge threat to anyone attempting to abuse him.
A- To once again have all students in taxpayer funded schools following the James Wilson Rules of Conduct: 1- Keep your hands and your mouth (words) to yourself. 2- Do what your teachers tell you to do.
A- James Wilson was a beloved educator and coach who, in 1970, successfully led the integration of public schools in a small South Carolina textile mill town called Ninety Six, S.C. The first day of integration Coach Wilson told his students that the schools were going to be a great place of learning and fun because everybody was going to follow 2 simple rules of conduct: 1- Keep your hands and your mouth to yourself. 2- Do what your teachers tell you to do. These 2 simple rules still apply today and it is our goal at The Bully Periscope to once again establish this level of order in our schools so teachers can once again teach, and students can learn at the highest levels possible….and have a lot of fun. The creator of The Bully Periscope System was one of Coach Wilson’s 7th grade students that day.
A- ABSOLUTELY. Bullying occurs when one person exerts power over another person because of a real or perceived advantage over the victim. When a student disobeys a teacher they are exerting a perceived power over that teacher to do so; textbook bullying.
A- The Bully Periscope bully reports are designed to allow school administrators to quickly recognize a report as fraudulent. Witnesses are a big part in exposing fraudulent reports in many cases. It is impossible for multiple students to tell the same lie exactly alike, and in most cases when students file false reports they never address details among themselves; all a school administrator does is ask for some specific details and the entire scam unravels. Devices like school cameras, etc. can also expose false reports.
A- In most schools, bands have more than enough students to activate The Bully Periscope System in their school and community. When these students report all bullying they see or experience through The Bully Periscope, within a few days the bullying will begin to decrease and other students will join in. As more students use the system bullying will decrease more and more and in a short time period it will be completely controlled.
As far as cyberbullying goes, please click on the Cyberbullying page and meet Cirus, our resident cyberbully and see how band students can use his meme to react to cyberbullies.
A- YES, absolutely as long as they follow the 2 James Wilson rules of Conduct; 1- Keep your hands and your mouth to yourself. 2- Do what your teachers tell you to do.
A- ABSOLUTELY. At the end of this answer is a link to hundreds and hundreds of successful lawsuits against schools. There are certain requirements before the lawsuit can be filed and the combination of The Bully Periscope bully reports and the notification letter from the attorney lay the groundwork for that. However, very rarely will The Bully Periscope produce a lawsuit; in almost all cases the bullying will stop immediately before any lawsuit is necessary (please see the next question below). Here are the lawsuits: https://www.publicjustice.net/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/2024.06.20-Winter-2024-Edition-SCRP-Verdicts-and-Settlements-List-Final.pdf
A- Go to a local attorney and provide them with the bully reports and the Notification Letter that The Bully Periscope has provided you with. These documents meet the requirements for taking legal action to stop the abuse and put the attorney in a position to immediately take action. Because your lawyer does not have to spend money and time to get this information, they should take your case pro bono where they are paid from the settlement proceeds after the settlement is reached.
