Here is an example of how it works:

Step (2) After allowing time for other victims to submit their bullying reports the attorney goes to The Bully Periscope’s database and obtains copies of the reports on file against this bully. These reports contain very sensitive and personal information; attorneys should not share the victim’s names or the details of their abuse with anyone, not even their client. Attorneys can summarize the report for their client and still protect the victim’s privacy; here is an example of how this can be done. “The bully report revealed 5 more incidents involving 3 other victims where violence was used in 4 of the attacks. There were witnesses to all of the attacks.”

Step (3) After obtaining the bully reports the attorney sends the principal an email advising that any future incidents of bullying from the bully at hand could result in legal action being initiated against all responsible parties.
- At this point the game changes 180 degrees, no longer can the bully’s abuse of others be ignored or buried below FERPA rules by school administrators. The bully suddenly finds himself in checkmate, directly in the crosshairs of the Bully Periscope.
